Recently, Charles M. Coate on behalf of his client, after a trial by reference, obtained a judgment approximating $2.7M in unpaid profit participation in connection with the distribution of the Academy Award winning motion picture “Crash,” successfully defending the cross complaint in the action as well. Also, in connection with another recent matter involving the foreign distribution of a slate of films, on behalf of his client he obtained a judgment approximating $7.7M.
